Project overview

A selection of YouTube thumbnails created for Mikýřova úžasná pouť internetem during my two-and-a-half-year collaboration with Close friends agency. The featured work represents a small selection from a much larger collection produced throughout this period.

I was responsible for developing the concepts, compositions and overall visual direction, adapting each design in response to client feedback when required. Supplied photography was extensively edited and transformed to place the subjects into new situations tailored to each episode.

The thumbnails were primarily created in Photoshop, with generative AI gradually introduced as a supporting tool for producing individual assets. I retained control over the concepts, selection and final compositions, using AI to speed up production without handing over the creative direction. This approach reduced production time for both me and the client while preserving a consistent, deliberately crafted result.
